Goal
Create a nostalgic poster that captures the meaningful college experience of a group of students who reminded each other they were "in the palm of God's hand."
Description
This poster uses an isometric perspective to illustrate the audience's house in familiar colors, incorporating their initials and a verse reference. The hand beneath the house symbolizes the key phrase, "You are in the palm of God's hand."
The Process
I began by photographing the house to create a rough isometric sketch. Then I illustrated the house and hand in Adobe Illustrator, ensuring the final layout clearly communicated the client's message.
The Challenge
Designing a piece that resonated with the general public while also holding deeper, insider meaning for its intended audience, balancing clarity and sentimentality.
Audience
A group of six female college graduates.
